Ferro Sulphur developed and manfactured by the firm Feralloy v.s is specially tailored for the production of sulphur free cutting steels containg 03%S Until now free cutting steels were alloyed by addition of elementary sulphur onto ladle. The other methods filled wire or pyrite-are used only for correction of sulphur content because these products are too expensive. The allying by elementary sulphur has two main drawbacks -varying yield(60-90%) resulting in bigger dispersion of final sulphur content -strong enviromental pollution SO2 Ferro sulphur is a sintered mixture of iron powder and sulphur which contains 40%S. It is added to molten steel in ladle at tap in the same way as pure sulphur. The higher density of ferrosulphur keeps down evaparation of the sulphur. The new method of the sulphur addition brings the following advantages -substantial reduction of sulphur dioxide(80-90%) better yield of sulphur.

How to buy Ferro Boron?
Ferro Boron is an alloy, which is formed by combining iron and boron. Ferro Boron comes in several grades, although predominantly it is produced in two grades, these being 10% Boron and 17% Boron. Ferro Boron will typically be added to steel to form a very strong, highly durable and specialist steel for use across a variety of applications. Ferro Boron is usually supplied as a powder, making it an easy compound to add to any alloy manufacturing process.
Properties
Ferro Boron as an additive to the production process of amorphous metals will impart several desirable properties to the new alloy. One of the primary benefits of adding Ferro Boron to an alloy is in the fact that it can significantly increase the magnetic susceptibility of the final alloy, making it ideal for the production of Nd-Fe-B magnets.

Nitrided ferrochrome vs. Ferrochromium
Nitrided ferrochrome mainly used in smelting of N bearing steels, In Cr-Ni stainless steels, element Ni Can be substituted partly by N.
Ferrochromium is characteristics in its stable N content, high density and high element yield in smelting process.High nitrogen ferrochromium is a new primium alloy additive in steel smelting of super high-strength protective ring steel, valve steel, bearing steel ,etc. It is characterized in its high nitrogen content and low impuries.N yield can be improved as it is in use and the addition can be reduced.

What is Ferro niobium?
Ferro niobium is an important iron niobium alloy, with a niobium content of 60-70%. It is the main source for niobium alloying of HSLA steel and covers more than 80% of the world wide niobium production.
The niobium is mined from pyrochlore deposits and is subsequently transformed into the niobium pentoxide Nb2O5. This oxide is mixed with iron oxide and aluminium and is reduced in the an aluminothermic reaction to niobium and iron.
Ferro Niobium imparts a doubling of strength and toughness as well as weight reduction due to its grain refining attributes in carbon and HSLA steels. The main first use industries for Ferro Niobium are in carbon pipelines, construction and automobiles. It is also added to stainless steel to stop embrittlement after welding.

What are the uses of Zinc chloride?
Zinc chloride (also called soldering flux) is a water-soluble chemical compound. Zinc chloride is the name of chemical compound with the formula ZnCl2 and its hydrates. Zinc chlorides, of which nine crystalline forms are known, are colorless or white, and are highly soluble in water. Zinc chloride finds wide application in textile processing, metallurgical fluxes, and chemical synthesis.
Industrial Applications
Zinc chloride is used in dry cell batteries both as an electrolyte, moisture absorbent and corrosion inhibitor. It is used in fluxes for soldering, galvanizing and tinning. As an excellent emulsion breaker, zinc chloride is used to separate oil from water. It is also used as a packer fluid in oil and gas wells. Zinc chloride is put to use as an inhibitor in potable water treatment plants, cooling towers, and gas and oil wells.
Zinc chloride has the ability to attack metal oxides (MO) to give derivatives of the formula MZnOCl2. This reaction is relevant to the utility of ZnCl2 as a flux for soldering — it dissolves oxide coatings exposing the clean metal surface. Fluxes with ZnCl2 as an active ingredient are sometimes called "Tinner's Fluid". Typically this flux was prepared by dissolving zinc foil in dilute hydrochloric acid until the liquid ceased to evolve hydrogen; for this reason, such flux was once known as killed spirits. Because of its corrosive nature, this flux is not suitable for situations where any residue cannot be cleaned away, such as electronic work. This property also leads to its use in the manufacture of magnesia cements for dental fillings and certain mouthwashes as an active ingredient.
